ControlYard: a digital dispatcher for the logistics yard
A single YMS + LPR + service-station + driver app platform: queue and gates, automatic licence plate recognition and barrier control, UPD/transport-unit document flow and a transparent visit status for drivers — in real time.
Challenge
Logistics yards run on chaos: uncontrolled queues and vehicle idle time, paper-based service-station paperwork and lost delivery documents, drivers waiting blind and calling the dispatcher, and SLA breaches discovered after the fact. The client needed one control loop where arrivals, gates, documents and driver communication are visible in a single window.
Solution
We built ControlYard — a platform of four modules covering the full cycle from driver pre-registration to closing the documents. LPR cameras read the plate and open the barrier with confidence filtering, the dispatcher manages the queue and gates in one click, the service station tracks documents and transport units on a single timeline, and the driver sees the visit status in the app.
